The 2022 World Championship will feature the following events

Friday
An exciting timeline of events kicks off on Friday with the Spartan Kids® World Championship. With race distances for all ages, dozens of countries represented, and an incredible Spartan Kids® course and post race celebration, this is a race that the younger generation of Spartans will never forget.

The Elite Spartan Beast Championship, the crown jewel of the epic weekend, will kick off on Friday night. Qualified Elite racers will have the dunes to themselves as they take on a remarkable desert course. The half marathon distance Beast will feature a perfect mix of high-speed running, leg-burning steep climbs, and breathtaking scenery.

Saturday
Saturday morning and afternoon will feature Age Group and Open Spartan Beast heats, as well as Open heat Spartan Kids races of varying distances.

The event weekend will culminate on Saturday night with the Teams World Championship, an event first introduced in 2016. More details are coming soon.
